I know wedding planning comes with a million questions, so I’ve popped the most common ones here. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just reach out, I’m always happy to help.
I only take one wedding per day so I can give you my full attention (no rushing between venues!), which means dates can go quickly. Most of my brides book 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak season. It’s always worth checking though — if your date is free, I’ll hold it for you while we chat through details.
Yes! You can book me for hair, makeup, or both. I also have a handpicked team of artists who can join me for larger parties. This means we can comfortably get everyone ready on time while keeping the morning calm, relaxed, and fun.
You’ll find my full price list in my brochure, but to give you an idea: bridal makeup on the day is £165, hair is £155, or both for £295. Trials are a little less. Bridesmaids, Mums, and guests are £85 for makeup and £85 for hair. My bridal packages include cluster lashes, skin prep with premium products (hello, Sonia Roselli!), and so so much more.
Alongside my services, I also have a handpicked team of senior artists whose rates are slightly lower than mine. They bring their own wealth of talent and experience, and booking them gives you the same calm, professional experience with a little extra flexibility on budget. You can view a side by side of whats included with each experience on my home page here.
The minimum spend with me is £500 and £450 with a senior artist.
Yes, a non-refundable deposit secures your date in my diary, without it, your date remains open to others. The amount is £100 and is deducted from your balance. You're welcome to cancel at anytime but any payments made will not be refunded. If it is less than 4 weeks until your wedding and you wish to cancel, the full amount will still be owing. Life happens, so if you need to cancel or reschedule, all the details are covered in my contract (sent before booking so you’re always clear).
I recommend booking your trial around 3–6 months before your wedding. My booking system will automatically send you a link to my calendar when its time. You can then choose the date which suits you best. It’s a relaxed session at my studio in weston-super-mare, where we’ll chat through your ideas, try out looks, and make sure everything feels “you, but elevated.” Bring any inspiration photos, veil/accessories, and ideally wear a top in a similar neckline/colour to your dress. Trials usually last around 2 hours for one service or 3 hours for both.
My senior artists also offer trials at their studios and these are where the artist is based. You will know your artists location before booking to ensure you're able to get there.
Absolutely! I’ve created online galleries so you can see real brides I’ve worked with. Each artist on my team also has their own “artist card” with a portfolio, so you can feel confident in whoever you book.
I use a curated kit of premium, professional products that photograph beautifully and last all day (and night). Skin prep is key, so I use skincare for sensitive skin to create a glowing base. My kit includes a mix of high-end brands that work on a wide range of skin types and tones. If you have allergies or sensitivities, just let me know and we can plan around it.
Every face, skin tone, and hair type is unique .... and that’s what I love most about my job! I’ve trained extensively in diverse beauty and continue to learn so I can confidently and respectfully work with all textures and tones. If you have cultural or religious styling requests, we’ll chat through them at your trial so I can deliver exactly what you need.
Organisation is everything! Bridal makeup takes around 60 minutes, bridal hair around 75 minutes, and bridesmaids/mums take about 45 minutes for hair and 45 mins for makeup. I’ll create a schedule in 15-minute slots so everyone knows when it’s their turn. It keeps the morning stress-free and ensures you’re ready with time to spare. I will get you all finished 1 hour and 30 minutes before the ceremony/when you have to leave for the ceremony. This may seem like a long time. Trust me... you NEED that time!!
Yes! I’ll happily travel to your home, hotel, or wedding venue on the day. Travel costs are simply based on mileage and any parking or toll charges, and I’ll confirm these clearly in your final invoice. I usually cover weddings within about two hours of my home, but I’m more than happy to go further... if that’s the case, an overnight stay may be required so I can be with you bright and early.
If your morning involves more than one location, there may be a small additional fee, which we’ll chat through at your trial. For bookings where I bring extra artists with me, mileage will also be added for each of them, but don’t worry, I always assign the team member closest to your venue wherever possible..
I will stay with you up until the moments before you put your dress on. If you’d like me to stay after your ceremony for touch-ups, photos, or even a hairstyle/makeup change, that’s absolutely an option. I charge this by the hour or as a half-day/full-day booking, depending on what you need. Some brides love having me on hand for peace of mind.
I completely understand how important this is, and I’d never leave you without an artist. In the rare event I’m unable to attend, I have a trusted network of artists who can step in. They’re vetted, professional, and their style will be a perfect fit for your day.
Skin: Stick to a good routine and avoid trying new products right before your wedding. No products on your face on the wedding morning.
Hair: Wash and dry the night before unless we agree otherwise. Avoid heavy products, as they can weigh hair down.
Tanning: If you’re planning a spray tan, book it for 2–3 days before the wedding.
I’ll send you a prep guide with all the do’s and don’ts so you feel confident.
That’s completely up to you, some brides cover it as a gift, others let their bridal party decide. To make it easy, I provide one clear itemised invoice, and you can gather payments from everyone. You can then easily pay me by bank transfer inline with the invoice deadlines.
Of course! I’m always happy to hop on a call or email to chat through your ideas, answer questions, and give you a feel for how I work. Planning your wedding is personal, and I want you to feel 100% comfortable before making any decisions.
